History

Brooke began her career assisting lead stylist and owner Yuki Sharoni, in Beverly Hills. Here she learned his highly acclaimed cutting technique, and furthered her knowledge of color. While in Los Angeles Brooke had the opportunity to work behind the scenes on photo shoots, TV segments, and award shows. Since returning from Los Angeles, She has been working at Red Hair Studio in Montecito. Here she has depend her knowledge of skills while building a cliental base which has inspired her towards this next phase of her career.

HistoryThe story of this establishment begins back in 1979. John, the owner of John Edwards Salon, opened up shop after working for another salon in town. The salon was located above the Bagel Cafe. After 17 years at that location he moved over to 6529 Trigo and has continued to stay open for over 35 years! On October 1st, 2014 he sold the salon to Katherine, a longtime stylist there who has renamed it to Isla Vista Hair Company. There are a lot of changes and additions coming along with this new chapter, but the same great quality of service will always remain. The staff at IV Hair Co are excited about doing your hair!
