History

SNAFU was created in early 2005 and with its rapid growth, became a 501(c)(3) very quickly. We have an email listserv where subscribers receive information on advocacy strategies, education on special education laws, local SNAFU events and much more.

Specialties

We are a 100% all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting special-needs children and their families. We have weekly support group meetings, IEP help (including audits, IEP attendance, etc) and more. We freely share information so that parents can be fully-informed when make decisions regarding the eduation of their special-needs children.
