The Bungalows by Homestead Modern

"The Bungalows are the premiere offering of Retreat by Homestead Modern and consist of 14 rooms nestled in the northwest corner of the historic 152 acre Joshua Tree Retreat Center campus abutting the Mojave Desert Land Trust. Our rooms are housed in authentic 1950 post-and-beam-style buildings featuring newly renovated interiors that were architecturally restored in 2022. They are surrounded by sky, serenity, and endless views of Joshua Trees, but only a few minutes away from Joshua Tree Village, the National Park entrance, and Pioneertown. The Bungalows are WITHIN the Joshua Tree Retreat Center (JTRC) but are managed by Homestead Modern NOT the JTRC. While the outdoor areas of the JTRC campus are available to all Bungalows Guests, please be aware Homestead Modern doesn't oversee, manage nor control these areas. If you are interested in any other area on the JTRC campus that isn't The Bungalows, you will need to reach out to them directly. The Bungalows offer generous communal outdoor space, however, including outdoor dining areas and propane BBQ grills, a firepit overlooking one of the many vortices on the JT Retreat Center campus, as well as hiking trails and access to the Joshua Tree Retreat Center pool, hot tub, and wellness activities. Each room, while connected in one of three buildings, has its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, patio and parking space. Our rooms sleep 28 people at two people per room; 12 are equipped with king beds while 2 have twins.
