The Jim Henson Company, a provider of family entertainment since 1955, has received worldwide recognition as a leader in puppetry, animatronics and computer graphics. Best known as creators of the world famous Muppets, it has received numerous Emmy Awards and several Grammy Awards. Additionally, Jim Henson s Creature Shop has received Academy Awards for the visual effects and animatronic builds for the 1996 movie Babe, and the invention of the Henson Performance Control System a custom-built puppeteering mechanism. Its recent projects include Farscape, the family film Good Boy!, and the features Five Children and It, MirrorMask, a preschool series entitled Francesand and the television feature Muppets Wizard of Oz. The Jim Henson Company is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices and production facilities in New York and London.

Oh how I wish this place was open to visitors =( It was neat to see first hand some of the buildings used in the most recent Muppet Movie. Interesting enough there was a security person there but...
