Our first time there. We moved to Carmel Valley about 5 months ago and have slowly been trying out local Peninsula restaurants. We have walked by Pocket a few times and finally had dinner there....

I should've known this was going to be a miss when we weren't greeted for nearly 30 minutes after being seated. Eventually the manager stepped in as our server, which only added to the confusion....

We came to The Pocket for their Happy Hour 3:30 to 5:00. Greeted with smile's immediately and gave us our choice of seating in the sun or shaded. Sun was hot so we picked shade. Dogs are welcome...
