Richard Johnson, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonology. Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville Health Science Center in Kentucky. He completed his internship and his residency at the USC University Hospital in California. Dr. Johnson strongly believes in working with patients as part of a comprehensive and collaborative effort. He understands that teamwork leads to the best outcomes. Dr. Johnson focuses on being a good listener who is approachable and can communicate effectively and empathetically. Dr. Johnson strives to help his patients navigate the complex health care system so they can stay healthy and reach their health goals faster. His goal is to ensure his patients have a clear path to a happier and healthier life. Dr. Johnson's clinical interests include geriatric and heart health care. When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family. He loves reading books, gardening, golfing, hiking, and traveling the world.
