Navid Farahmand, MD, is an interventional pain management physician serving the greater Los Angeles area and is located in Beverly Hills. Dr. Farahmand is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of California Los Angeles and obtained his medical degree at the University of California San Diego in 2004. After finishing his residency in anesthesiology at West Virginia University in 2008, he completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Utah, one of the premier programs in pain management in the U.S. After several years of private practice in Utah as well as California, Dr. Farahmand established his own practice in Beverly Hills. He holds dual board certifications in anesthesiology and pain management. Dedicated to relieving pain and improving the quality of life for his patients, Dr. Farahmand treats all forms of spinal pain disorders, cancer pain, nerve-related (neuropathic) pain, joint pain, opioid dependence and detoxification, and other pain-related conditions. He is considered an expert in phantom limb pain and has given talks on this subject at the local and national level. Throughout his education, Dr. Farahmand has been involved in research and has several first author publications to his credit. He minimizes the use and needfor oral pain medications through a variety of techniques, including but not limited to the implantation of spinal cord stimulators, radiofrequency ablation, x-ray and ultrasound guided injections, and the growing field of stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine.

Patients from throughout the Los Angeles area benefit from his expertise in treating arthritis, back, neck, knee, and shoulder pain, and sciatica with platelet rich plasma injections and other innovative pain management techniques.Dr. Nassiri's educational path began in his hometown at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with Honors, earning a degree in Exercise Science.
