HistoryAtlas Health is an integrative health clinic dedicated to cutting edge, patient-centered care. Dr. Joseph Smith became clinic director of Lighthouse Wellness Center (now Atlas Health) in 2007. He added the services of in-house Functional Medicine Laboratory Assessment and the highest level certification in Applied Kinesiology to an already thriving integrative/patient-centered practice. It is the only clinic on the west coast that has this combination. The clinic serves a population base on both coasts and includes NCAA national champions, critically ill patients, and patients looking to get the most out of life. Patients vary in age from less than 1 month to 99 years old. Where the problem is - Symptoms in one area of the body are often times representative of a cause which is remote. 2. What technique will be used to fix it - This allows Dr. Smith to choose from multiple healing arts with theraputic certainty instead of an educated guess, which often leads to favorable patient outcomes....including chronic otherwise unresponsive cases. 3.
