Villegas Ysmael Middle School

Ysmael Villegas Middle School provides educational classes to more than 1,400 students in grades six and eight and is affiliated with the Alvord Unified School District. It has a parent-teacher association that promotes understanding between parents, teachers, and students and organizes and supports various school activities, events and programs. The school s academic curriculum includes communication arts, science, math, physical education, health, reading, writing, social studies, family and consumer science, industrial technology, art, foreign language, health and music. The school offers a wide range of athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, cross country, and track and field.
