Dr. Barber has extensive experience in all modalities of contact lens fitting and has a special interest in pediatric optometry, including pediatric contact lens fittings and the treatment of amblyopia. Dr. Barber began her career in the United States Air Force, where she treated Aviators and other active duty, dependents, and retirees providing eye examinations, contact lenses fittings, and LASIK surgery management. She continues to offer pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgeries locally.Dr. Barber is also certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, including aqueous deficiency syndrome and chronic inflammatory dry eye. When not practicing optometry, Dr. Barber enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
