Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center is an advanced health care facility in Colorado. It offers a wide range of medical and surgical services, including adult critical care, cardiac and vascular, pediatrics, radiology and imaging, rehabilitation, surgical, and women and family services. The hospital has an art committee that establishes an art program to enhance the healing environment. It has more than 400 pieces of art made in different mediums, such as ceramic tile, metal sculptures, blown glass, ceramics, photography, quilts, watercolor, multimedia assemblage and giclee prints. The hospital also provides patients, visitors and staff a welcoming and healing presence of music and sound with a special program that uses a blended design of light classical, smooth jazz, ambient and world music.
