Denver Regional Council of Governments provides regional cooperation between more than 50 county and municipal governments in the Denver metropolitan area. It serves as the region's Area Agency on Aging, and plans and coordinates services to older adults. It oversees all regional water quality issues, including watershed quality trends, standards and classifications, wastewater treatment and disposal practices, groundwater quality, recharge zones and land use patterns.
