Baker Market and Deli

History

Hi! I'm Eileen and I'm the proud owner of Baker Neighborhood Market. I started this business in January 2018 and officially open the doors in April. When I was 17 I worked as a cashier in this very building. Back in those days I worked for Berlinda Olivas her store was La Tiendita and she actually still owns the store building and attached home today. The store has gone through so many transitions throughout the years, in the 1800's it was a women's ran barber shop, then a German Bakery and there was even a point in time the catholic church held mass here while they were building what is now St. Joseph Catholic Parish on 6h & Galapego. The building history is amazing, if these walls could talk what stories they would say!
