Blair Wernick, NP, developed a passion for womens health after caring for women with gynecologic cancers as an RN for several years. Being a part of their health journey through some of their most vulnerable times significantly impacted her nursing style to be compassionate with an individualized approach. She cares deeply about patient wellness, and advocates for illness prevention, including proper health screenings that will enable her patients to maintain a healthy life. Blair believes every patient should be treated like family. She enjoys seeing women of all backgrounds, from adolescent through the postmenopausal years, and strives to maintain an open-minded environment where patients can feel heard and comfortable. Her goal is to create a strong patient-provider relationship by attentively listening, being approachable, and creating a safe space for honest conversations about womens health. In her role as an NP, she hopes to educate and advocate for women so they can make informed decisions about their bodies and feel empowered!Blair received her Bachelor of Science from the College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. At the University of Colorado at Anschutz in Aurora, Colorado, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and completed in the Womens Health Nurse Practitioner program.Blair is a self-proclaimed foodie from Norman, Oklahoma. She loves traveling, scuba diving, going to concerts, and gardening. She tries to soak up as many simple special moments as she can with her husband, son, family and friends.
