The Highlands Ranch Library maintains a collection of books, newspapers, periodicals, directories and reference materials. The library also houses digital content, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, research tools and commercial databases. It maintains a children s room that features educational resources for children and parents, as well as organizes reading programs. The Highlands Ranch Library offers meeting rooms on a rental basis to nonprofit and community-based groups. The library s meeting rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access and presentation boards. It additionally manages the Highlands Ranch Mystery Loves Company Reading Group, which includes books from several authors. The Highlands Ranch Library is a part of Douglas County Libraries, which is an independent library district.
