Engineers Without Borders USA

Engineers Without Borders, also known as EWB-USA, is a nonprofit humanitarian organization that partners with developing communities worldwide to improve the quality of life. The organization offers assistance with the implementation of sustainable engineering projects. It assists to enhance local, technical, managerial and entrepreneurial skills. Engineers Without Borders provides mentoring, training and educational programs on sustainable development. In addition, the organization operates a store that sells a selection of office supplies and jewelry. Engineers Without Borders has partnerships with several agencies, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, United Engineering Foundation and Washington Division of URS Corporation. The organization maintains a location in Boulder, Colo.
