Kristina Wayt, LCSW, believes in a holistic approach is best for treating her patients. Kristina is passionate about helping patients access care and address important topics to the patient to build self-determination. She utilizes therapeutic techniques that include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and assisting patients in building understanding and awareness while learning new skills.Kristina received her master's and bachelor's degree in social work from Colorado State University. She is experienced in working with substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders and working with adults, adolescents and LGBTQ+ populations.When not in the office, Kristina likes to spend time exploring Colorado, hiking and walking her dog. She also enjoys reading, and spending time with friends and family.
