Health Psychology Associates is a practice that specializes in psychological assessment and treatment of primarily medical patients. We provide assessment and treatment for individuals with physical injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, chronic illnesses, insomnia disorder, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties. We also provide pre-surgical evaluations for individuals seeking bariatric surgery or seeking placement of spinal cord stimulators. We treat both workers’ compensation patients and personal insurance patients. We work in connection with your doctors and psychiatrists (if applicable) to provide optimal care. We are one part of the comprehensive treatment picture. Most of the patients we see also work with doctors, nurses, surgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, vestibular therapists, cognitive therapists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, speech therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and/or acupuncturists. We believe that each person needs a unique assortment of providers.
