History

After years of working for a number of architectural and engineering firms, I realized most firms had the same issue with their CAD management, namely the style differences in how drafters worked within a company which resulted in plans having a generally messy appearance. I started J-CAD Consulting to develop standards and any education related to it. Often, as we completed a contract for standards, we were offered a drafting position. Drafting services were added in late 2016. Shortly after, we included various aspects of design as part of our services. While we work multiple disciplines, site and subdivision design seems to be the bulk of our drafting and design projects followed by various forms of architecture. While working on a surface for a subdivision, I textured and rendered the surface. I added some of the home models of the builder on the lots. Seeing it, the developer he bought the image off of me. This was the start of 3D Modelling and Animation by J-CAD Consulting.
