Los Portales Mexican Restaurant

Los Portales Mexican Restaurant was founded in April of 2006 by Jose and Claudia Ursua. Jose and Claudia met over 24 years ago while working together at a Mexican restaurant, fell in love, and soon married. Both Jose and Claudia shared a dream of owning their own business, and after many years of hard work, dedication, and help from Claudia’s siblings, that dream was realized. By combining their love of Mexican food and culture, Los Portales Mexican Restaurant was born. “Portales” describes the entrance of a building or section of market in town which is generally reserved for food vendors or homestyle restaurants. It is with great honor that we used this name for our family-run restaurant. We invite you to sample our authentic Mexican cuisine from our home state of Colima, centrally located on the pacific coast of México. We are delighted to welcome you into our restaurant and family.
