LOUIS SWISS BAKERY IS AN ASPEN INSTITUTION founded in 1982 by the Tornare Family, who brought the family bakery from Switzerland to Colorado. A partnership between local Jill Soffer and Austin, Texas based MML Hospitality was formed in 2022 to own and operate the bakery along with longtime MML baker and pastry chef, Jennifer Tucker.

The food and service were great! It's definitely pricey, but it's Aspen, so I guess it's to be expected. We had chorizo breakfast burrito, an almond croissant, and an apple Jesus - all were delicious.
