Marco Tony Gomez, MD, believes that quality care is achieved through establishing trusting relationships with his patients. He feels that patient care is a two-way street between the patient and provider, and by educating his patients, they can make informed medical decisions in order to stay healthy. Dr. Gomez is passionate about preventive medicine and encourages active lifestyle choices through nutrition and exercise. While Dr. Gomez enjoys many aspects of family medicine, he has a particular interest in the management of chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.Dr. Gomez received his undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver and earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. While completing his residency training and board certification in family medicine at the Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio, he developed a deep interest and a strong skill set in internal medicine.Dr. Gomez enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. He also loves spending time with family and his pets.
