Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design

Founded in 1963, Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design offers a variety of art and designing courses. It offers bachelor s of art degrees in animation, art education, graphic designing, illustration and interior designing. It assists students with various sculptures, drawings and painting. The college has a computer lab, featuring 3-D computer animation, video and sound, multimedia, computer-aided drafting and advanced special effects software. It also offers special learning facilities, including a woodshop, ceramics studio, photography lab, professional sound studio, 283-seat auditorium, 35-seat audiovisual theater and large meeting rooms. In addition, it offers a library and resource center. The college offers a variety of exhibitions and artwork, portrait painting, architecture, interior design, photography and sculpture programs. Additionally, it provides students with card catalogs, electronic databases, Internet and word processing tools. The college is located in Lakewood, Colo.
