I am a strong supporter of taking a multidisciplinary approach to managing often-complex disease processes in order to achieve optimal results. I pride myself on providing patient-centered care, making sure patients and their families understand all the diagnostic and treatment options available to them, as well as the potential benefits and risks of surgery. I have a particular interest in minimally invasive thoracic surgical approaches, which can help to minimize postoperative discomfort and get patients back to their activities of daily living as soon and as safely as possible.

I pride myself on making sure patients and their friends and families understand all the diagnostic and treatment options available to them, as well as the potential benefits and risks of treatment, in order for patients to make educated decisions about their care. I educate so that patients and their families comprehend fully the details of their diagnosis, the work up, the treatment decision making process, and results of their studies. I want to ensure that my patient's treatment is consistent with the most updated national guidelines and evidence based medicine.
