He then completed fellowship training in pain medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.Dr. Willis decided to pursue a career in medicine after overcoming injuries from his own athletic career. Leaning on his personal experiences, Dr. Willis understands the importance of regaining overall function and maintaining wellness. His clinical interests include the non-operative management of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, ranging from joint, muscle, and sports injuries to more significant illnesses, such as spinal cord injury, post-stroke care, spasticity management, post-amputation management, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis."Utilizing a multi-modal and individualized approach, I strive to help patients maximize their functional abilities with the goal of improving their quality of life.
