US Air Force Academy Library

The USAF Academy Library System provides reference, research and reading collections on a collegiate and professional level to support the needs of the U.S. Air Force Academy. The system is comprised of a base library in the community center and field libraries in staff agencies. Its McDermott Library features a collection of more than 1,744,700 periodicals, electronic books and journals, microfilm reels and CDs. McDermott Library includes a bibliographic instruction laboratory that is equipped with workstations for searching library databases. The library offers circulation services and serves cadets and military and civilian personnel. It additionally provides a range of monographs, encyclopedias, almanacs and handbooks for academy personnel involved in research projects.
