Founded in 1916, R.T. Vanderbilt Company, Inc. manufactures and sells more than 800 products representing 60 categories of minerals and chemicals to clients in the rubber, plastics, petroleum, paint, paper, pharmaceutical, agricultural, ceramics, adhesives, wire and cable, cosmetics and household products industries. The company is headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., and operates subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities in Connecticut, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Nevada, Arizona and California.

Miller-Stephenson Chemical supplies high purity chemicals to industries servicing aerospace, electronics, aviation, chemical, automotive, power and a host of others. Only the highest-grade manufacturer-certified solvents are used in its formulations. Its variety of products includes chemicals for electronics, protective coatings, release agents, epoxy resins, lubricants and specialty products. Miller-Stephenson has completed field trials for a new family of PTFE Release Agents and Dry Lubricants. These products create a superior release for plastics, elastomers and resins - including acrylics, rubber, nylons, epoxy, polycarbonates and polystyrene. They also have no discernible transfer, no migration, provide multiple releases and contain no silicones. George Stephenson founded Miller-Stephenson in 1955. The company began operation in modest quarters by repackaging resins and curing agents for boat manufacturers in the Northeast. Its headquarters facility is situated on 35 acres in Danbury, Conn.
