Dr. Shimy Apoorva is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist specializing in the management of ocular inflammatory diseases, the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory and infectious eye conditions including scleritis, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, and uveitis. She also manages patients with glaucoma, cataracts, keratitis, diabetic retinopathy, AMD and dry eyes. Dr. Apoorva earned a doctorate of osteopathic medicine in 2017 from Philadelphia college of osteopathic medicine, Suwanee Georgia. Upon completing her medicine training Dr. Apoorva completed her TRI and ophthalmology residency from St. John's Episcopal Hospital Far Rockaway, NY.

Dr. Steven Tu is a highly skilled ophthalmologist and laser eye surgeon who's been serving the Hartford community since 2001. Dr. Tu was born and raised in the hills of New Jersey, and enjoys travelling and skiing.
