Ralphola Taylor Community Center is a neighborhood youth center with a variety of programs for Bridgeport, Conn. area youth. The youth programs subscribe to a positive youth development. The center seeks to positively influence youth development by fostering intellectual, social and emotional competencies within youth. The center is located within an urban neighborhood and the programs are available to youth after school and in the evenings. The center offers programs that allow opportunities to get help with schoolwork, provide enrichment opportunities and focus on skill training as a program objective. The center also offers access to athletic, day camp and recreational programs and make an effort to involve parents in the management of the programs.
