Highland Park Markets has a history stretching back more than 100 years, but was purchased by the Devanney family, which currently owns it in 1953. The company has five stores in communities in central Connecticut including Manchester, Glastonbury, Farmington, Suffield and Coventry. Each store is divided into five departments: meats, seafood, deli, produce and bakery. Highland Park Markets deli and bakery departments have won national awards and recognition. Quick stop on a Saturday morning right after Halloween. Busy, especially the deli counter. I ordered a bagel sandwich that was generously packed and stacked. Clean store, on the pricey side .

A nice grocery store, with very friendly staff. The selection is quite good, considering the size. The store bakery seems to stand out to me, as well. Nice options, and good taste.
