The Hospital for Veterinary Surgery (HVS) is Manhattan's first and only surgery-exclusive veterinary hospital. With a wealth of experience, our board-certified surgeons and highly skilled veterinary care team place their sole focus on medical and surgical excellence and top-grade medical outcomes. We are fully equipped to handle a full range of surgeries in our 10,000 square foot hospital, which houses dedicated orthopedic and soft tissue ORs, a CT machine for advanced imaging and quiet recovery areas. The HVS anesthesia team includes an on-staff anesthesiologist and licensed veterinary technicians specializing in anesthesia. Additionally, we provide overnight postoperative care for close monitoring and nursing care.
