Commercial Sewing was founded in 1967 as a small auto-trim sewing shop. It gained a reputation for making strong, quality, and reasonably priced custom fit covers. In the 1970s, dealer sales increased so rapidly that Commercial Sewing began producing snowmobile covers year round. Service to dealers was soon replaced by volume sales to distributors and eventually the original equipment manufacturers.
