Melissa is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years with a strong background in Infection Prevention. Melissa provides primary care for patients of all ages and believes that strong patient relationships are vital to providing quality healthcare. She feels that patients should be seen as individuals within their family and community. She needs to consider patient values and goals while providing care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, finding new restaurants, listening to podcasts, and reading science fiction.

Dr. DeRosa is a family physician, board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. DeRosa provides care for all ages, focusing on prevention, screening and diagnosing diseases. She believes that good medicine begins with establishing strong relationships with patients and understanding their needs. Dr. DeRosa attended medical school at Tulane School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Middlesex Hospital in Connecticut, her hometown. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and biking.

Dr. Kaplan is an osteopathic family medicine physician, providing care to all family members with a focus on prevention. As an osteopathic physician, he takes a holistic view and considers how treating one issue can effect the patient’s overall health. He is understanding and helps reduce the stress some patients feel when going to the doctor. Dr. Kaplan is very interested in ensuring his patients have good quality of life and addresses mental health as well as physical health needs. Before joining Nuvance Health, he was chief resident for the family medicine residency program at Garnet Health Medical Center. He enjoys spending time with his dog and traveling.
