School of Swimming, established in 1974, offers swimming instructions to children and adults. The school has trained more than 57,000 young people. It offers a variety of programs to its students, including standard program, private lesson program, community water safety, and lifeguard training, and advanced techniques graduate class. The community water safety is a Red Cross course designed to train individuals to respond in an aquatic emergency. The lifeguard training is designed to provide the minimum skills training for a person to qualify as a nonsurf lifeguard. The advanced techniques graduate class is a special class designed for students who have successfully completed the school s standard program or its equivalent. School of Swimming is located in Rocky Hill, Conn.

Camp Eagle Feather is a co-educational day camp located in the woods of western Rocky Hill, Conn. Established in 1984, Camp Eagle Feather offer campers from 6 through 13 years old a traditional camp experience, which includes a wide range of sports, crafts, activities and special events. The camp meets Monday through Friday from late June until August. Camp Eagle Feather is also affiliated with The School of Swimming a new resident camp, Camp Eagle Wing, which is scheduled to open in 2006.

British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, beginning as early as 3 months. Located inside of Holiday Inn Express, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.
