Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center

Located in Hartford, Conn., the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center is one of the largest nationally-recognized health care organizations for cancer patients in the Northeast. It conducts community health screening sessions that provide early detection exams for breast, prostate and colon cancer. The center also administers a prostate cancer program that provides coordinated care by a group of specialists and offers outreach, screening, treatment, support and research. The Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center operates a nationally recognized hematopathology department that conducts diagnosis and special studies in the areas of blood, bone marrow, and organs and tissues. It additionally offers information regarding alternative health, medication, and food and nutrition. The center is comprised of various medical specialists and support personnel.
