The Soundview Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that offers various sports, aquatic, family, and health and fitness programs. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, filed hockey, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. The organization provides several after-school enrichment programs for students in grades five and six. The Soundview Family YMCA also conducts babysitting classes. It offers the Y Guides and Princesses program, which brings parents and children together in small groups to participate in several fun and educational activities. In addition, it operates a Guilford Yacht Club, which offers sailing lessons to children between the ages of 8 and 16. The organization is located in Branford, Conn., and is operated by the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA.
