Tweedy, Browne Company, established in 1920, is a dealer in closely held and inactively traded securities. The firm invests in undervalued common stocks in the United States. It has more than $510 million in portfolios. Tweedy, Browne Company also manages private account portfolios for individuals and institutions. The firm offers the Tweedy, Browne Worldwide High Dividend Yield Value Fund. In addition, it provides the Tweedy, Browne Global Value Fund, which invests in non-U.S. marketable equity securities. The firm offers the Tweedy, Browne Value Fund, which invests in securities in France, Germany, Italy and Japan. Tweedy, Browne Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Affiliated Managers Group.
