Having witnessed how much anxiety some pets can suffer when they are brought into the hospital for over a decade, I decided to start offering home visits to my clients. After my first few house calls, I knew without a doubt that this was the way to do right by these pets. It's a great feeling to see how peaceful both the owners and the pets are when I am finished and walking out the door. I also enjoy the fact that having my own business means I can practice my own kind of veterinary medicine, one that focuses on a holistic approach to medicine and quality of life.
