Preethi Sural, MD

J. Zachary Hughes, MD, MPH, is the medical director of JHCP Sibley Primary Care specialized in Internal Medicine. He has clinical interests in comprehensive preventive medicine and management of diabetes mellitus. Prior to his career at Sibley Primary Care, he completed his medical residency at The Ohio State University, during which he was actively involved in medical education and received a Resident Teacher Award.Dr. Hughes earned his Medical Degree at Drexel University, graduating with awards for clinical excellence. During medical school, he additionally completed his Masters in Public Health with a focus in Policy and Advocacy. In addition to his clinical interests, Dr. Hughes is a proponent for policies that support health living and well-being, such as his implementation of smoke-free policies on the Drexel University Campus and work with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and Department of Health and Human Services in D.C.Dr. Hughes is dedicated to a holistic approach to patient care and helps patients take steps to prevent and reduce disease.

Mariam Gomaa, M.D., is an obstetrician gynecologist with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Dr. Gomaa provides comprehensive women’s healthcare, including pregnancy management, fertility planning, menopause care and gynecologic surgery. Dr. Gomaa’s professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, healthcare technology, health literacy and health equity. She is fluent in Arabic and has a special interest in immigrant and minority health, as she grew up helping her parents navigate the healthcare system for her brother with disabilities. Outside of her work as a physician, Dr. Gomaa is a writer. Her work has appeared in Time, ABC News, NBC News, Los Angeles Review of Books and more. Dr. Gomaa earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in creative writing and biochemistry. On her days off, she is a runner, reader, interior designer and fashion enthusiast. She lives with her husband in Washington, D.C.

Rachael Miller Levy, M.D., is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. In addition to providing comprehensive care in general obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Miller Levy is passionate about building trusted, long-term relationships with her patients. She creates a welcoming environment where her patients feel heard, respected and empowered. She offers a full spectrum of women’s health services, including preventive care such as annual exams, Pap smears, STD testing, birth control and sexual health counseling. Dr. Miller Levy finds great joy in supporting patients through pregnancy and childbirth and feels honored to be part of such a transformative time in their lives. She is also trained in both minor and major gynecologic procedures, including colposcopies, LEEPs, hysteroscopies, D&Cs and minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic hysterectomies. Originally from Philadelphia, where she completed her medical education and residency, Dr. Miller Levy began her career in private practice before focusing exclusively on labor and delivery. She is excited to return to the office setting, reconnecting with patients through longitudinal care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller Levy enjoys spending time with her family, daughter, and their energetic Portuguese Water Dog. She’s also a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan.
