In 1996, the beginning of the fourth generation of Stewarts joined the company, resulting in three generations currently working together serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan community and other global entities.Stewart Funeral Home is the oldest continuously family owned and operated minority funeral home and business in the District of Columbia.
