Andrea Vitello, M.D., is a cardiologist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health. Dr. Vitello specializes in general cardiology, women’s cardiovascular care, echocardiography, stress testing, preventive cardiology, risk assessment and heart failure treatment. He has been honored to present his work at leading regional and national meetings and has been privileged to have lectured and presented his work and share his experience on many orthopedic topics at Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences.He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. Some of Dr. Chapman’s awards and accolades include being the recipient of the Castle Connolly New York Metro Area’s Top Doctor Award and the New York Super Doctors Award seven years in a row.Dr. Chapman’s approach to patient care is to treat each patient as an individual, considering factors such as their lifestyle, age, occupation and expectations when developing a treatment plan. Whenever possible, he first uses nonoperative or conservative treatment methods. When not treating patients, Dr. Chapman enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and skiing.
