Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Mary Virginia Terry Cancer Center

Established in 2007, the Shands Florida Surgical Center is an outpatient, ambulatory clinic that serves the patients of all ages. It maintains a more than 28,000-square-foot facility that includes operating rooms and private post-surgery recovery areas, as well as a space for health fairs and seminars. The center administers surgeries related to sports and pediatric orthopedics. The Shands Florida Surgical Center offers treatment services for the hand, foot, ankle, ear, nose and throat. It also specializes in gynecology, urology and ophthalmology. The center conducts over 7,200 surgical procedures per year. The Shands Florida Surgical Center is a part of Shands HealthCare, which is a private, nonprofit health care system comprised of various academic medical centers and community and specialty hospitals.
