Andrew Stuart Ross, MD

Andrew Ross, M.D., is a board-certified colorectal surgeon at Baptist Health, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the colon, rectum and intestines, as well as robotic and minimally invasive surgery. He is fluent in English and Italian. After earning his medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, Dr. Ross completed his general surgery residency at North Shore University Hospital and served as chief resident. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Ross completed a colorectal surgery fellowship at Rutgers University Robert Woods Johnson Medical School. He is also an associate professor of surgery at the Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, he currently serves as chair for Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s quality committee, a member of the hospital’s surgical leadership committee and the site director for Florida Atlantic University’s surgical residency program. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Ross excels at creating individualized care plans for his patients. He recognizes that he often meets people during the most difficult times in their lives and wants to help them navigate tough choices through innovative, compassionate care. In his free time, Dr. Ross enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
