Florida KidSight Foundation Inc is a non-profit organization based in Gainesville, FL, dedicated to enhancing the early detection and treatment of vision impairments in children aged 1 to 6. In partnership with the Lions Club of Florida and the Bahamas, they provide leadership and infrastructure for free vision screenings, professional referrals, and follow-ups, aiming to prevent irreversible permanent vision loss in children with Amblyopia lazy eye. With the support of Lions Club volunteers and fantastic eye doctors, Florida KidSight Foundation has conducted over 150,000 screenings since 2010. Fully funded by private donations, this 501c3 organization strives to screen over 25,000 children annually across the state of Florida, emphasizing early detection, professional referral, and assured follow-up as key components of their mission.Generated from the website
