Boca Raton Police Service

The Boca Raton Police Services Department consists of a sworn force of nearly 200 officers and more than 105 civilian employees serving a population of approximately 83,960. The police department s mission is to enhance the quality of life in the city of Boca Raton, Fla., through progressive police service in partnership with the community. The bureaus of the department include community policing districts, investigate services, special services, special programs, special teams, administrative services and a communications center. Special services consist of community service officers, a marine unit, traffic unit, motorcycle unit and canine unit. Special teams include a dive team, explosive device ordnance team and special weapons and tactics team. The Boca Raton Police Services Department is located in Boca Raton.
