College of Dentistry

Established in 1972, University of Florida College of Dentistry is a publicly funded dental school. The college specializes in more than 15 degree and certificate programs. It offers courses in a variety of subjects, such as dentistry, neurosciences, bone biology, immunology, biostatistics, and cancer epidemiology and prevention. It provides classes in genomics of infectious diseases and cell biology and signaling. It offers a range of leisure activities that includes hiking, boating, swimming and fishing. The college also operates clubs that organize various activities and special events, including health fairs and community health screenings. Its facility includes specialty and dental outpatient clinics, seminar rooms, and teaching and research laboratories. In addition, the college offers a summer learning program for ethnic minority students. University of Florida College of Dentistry is located in Gainesville, Fla.
