Parks and Leisure Services is a department administered by The City of Lauderhill in Florida. The department is responsible for the maintenance, supervision and operation of several parks and amenities. Its facility, Veteran Park, features meeting rooms, pools, pavilions, grills and restrooms, as well as offers opportunities for a range of sports activities, such as baseball, soccer, football and volleyball. Parks and Leisure Services also operates Lauderhill Golf Course, which provides golfing facilities and maintains a pro shop and snack bar. In addition, the department operates West Wind Park, Jackie Gleason Park, Lauderhill Sports Park, Renaissance Park, Central Broward Regional Park and St. George Community Park. Parks and Leisure Services administers various recreational programs that include swimming and yoga classes.
