Doc's Oyster Bar

I am an unrecoverable oyster addict. This place is a perfect fix. Shuck, pluck and chuck.

Doc's Oyster Bar in Valparaiso... Meh. Checked out Doc's on a Monday night for dinner, as the reviews were nearly all 5 stars... While it wasn't bad, I didn't think it lived up to all the hype....

There are great views at this quaint water-front oyster bar. You order from the counter, are given a number, and can sit wherever you like. We had a dozen raw gulf oysters as well as grilled....

Doesn't look like much from the parking lot, but it has multiple levels if lovely waterfront seating and solid bar food. You order and the counter and take your number to your seat.

Ok folks - I've eaten a lot of onion rings but I have to say that Doc's Onion Rings are the Best around our area. If you challenge my comment - I challenge you to go and order some. They're Golden...
