Established in 1977, Florida Community College at Jacksonville offers learning opportunities for more than 64,000 students. It emphasis in college credits, continuing education and occupational skills training programs. The college includes classrooms and laboratories for instructions in various subjects, such as building, electrical and metal trades and engineering and automotive technologies. Florida Community College at Jacksonville also provides the English as a Second Language program. It serves community through programs for widows, senior citizens, displaced homemakers and visually impaired adults. Its business and industry outreach program includes customized in-house training for local employers. The college s curriculum includes behavioral science, communications, foreign languages, humanities, mathematics and social science. Its work force development division offers classes in computer science, information technology, early childhood education and office administration. Good college to get all of your lower level coursework done at if you are looking to transfer to another university after. They also have bachelor level courses. Huge selection of professors at...

I work here, so I can't give an unbiased review. I love coming here every day. I must say though that some of the students need to put on some more clothes before they come to class!

Never got a chance to check out classes because the admissions and help center are a joke. As of this review I have had a "ticket" (work request) submitted to correct an issue with my transcripts...

At the end of the second year, students are expected to achieve test measurement scores in the upper percentile of national scores for ninth grade students. Third year students are exposed to subjects normally taught in grades 10, 11, and 12. At the end of the third year, students are expected to achieve test measurement scores in the upper percentile of national scores for twelfth grade students.
