HistorySorbello's Restaurant was established in 1996 by a husband and wife by the name of Sara and Nicolo Sorbello. Married in Italy, Sara soon got stationed all the way in Florida, at NAS JAX. The idea of the restaurant came to them by a friend and they fantasized the idea. In no time, they had tiny Sorbello's up and running, with only about 6 or 7 tables in a tiny whole in the wall. They then expanded to another side which gave them about 14 tables! After 16 years of successful business it was time for another move in January 2012, this one not exactly by choice.
